Innovation is part of our history. ✨ Art is part of our story.

Today, we’re looking at two special works by textile artist Sebastien Courty , each reimagining the materials and legacy of Bell Labs through a different lens.

🧶 The Fabric of Bell
Original wires and cables recovered from the Bell Labs days were woven together to create eight totems, honoring the eight Nobel Prizes awarded for work conducted at Bell Labs. Created in collaboration with Bell Works Lead Designer + Creative Director Paola Zamudio (npz studio +), the piece transforms remnants of Bell Labs’ history into something entirely new.

⛓ The Cloth of Innovation
Reclaimed fiber optic cables are transformed into a luminous, translucent textile — giving new life to materials once engineered to carry information across the ocean.

Today, they carry something different: a connection to memory, material history, and human touch.

A story of innovation, reimagined. 💡

We’re celebrating International Architecture Day today—and all month long. 🏛️✨

To kick off Archtober, we’re looking back at the visionary behind where it all began: Eero Saarinen, the Finnish-American architect who designed the original Bell Laboratories in Holmdel, NJ. 🧠

Known for his sculptural, forward-thinking approach to design, Saarinen believed architecture could shape the way people connect, work, and experience a place. His portfolio included some of the most recognizable landmarks of the 20th century—from the TWA Flight Center at JFK to the Gateway Arch and Washington Dulles International Airport. 💥

Built with intention and purpose, Bell Labs was designed around the idea that great spaces inspire great ideas—and great ideas happen when people come together. Today, that same spirit lives on in Bell Works: an iconic piece of architectural history reimagined as a vibrant metroburb, while preserving the character and details that make it unlike anywhere else. ⚡️

All month long, we’re celebrating Archtober by exploring the architecture and design that tell the story behind the spaces you experience every day at Bell Works. 📍
