Holmdel HS is the proud home of International Thespian Society Troupe #34, which participated at the 2026 New Jersey Thespian Festival this past weekend. Our students competed in a number of performance and production categories that were judged by theatre professionals from across the tri-state area. Three Thespians were awarded Superior rating for their work:

Samantha Ayers - MakeUp Design
Adrian Cardinoza - Contrasting Monologues
Sofia Primiano - Contrasting Monologues

These three are now eligible to attend the International Thespian Festival at the University of Indiana - Bloomington this June.

Additionally, Troupe #34 received a Silver Honor Troupe award recognizing their work on stage and in fundraising, outreach, and service.

Congratulations to all our troupe members! Keep up the great work!

If you did not get a superior at NJ Festival and would like to earn one to be able to perform at ITF, check out the EdTA’s Alternate Qualifier. You CANNOT compete in a category that you already performed at NJ Thespian Festival HOWEVER you CAN compete in something new!
