A beautiful beginning to a year of faith and service.

This weekend, our Campus Ministry students were surrounded by the people who love and support them as their parents and Fr. Robert offered a special blessing over them as they begin their work as Campus Ministers at Nativity.

These students have said “yes” to serving their school community, leading by example, growing in their own faith, and helping others encounter Christ.

What a powerful reminder that our young people do not walk this journey alone. They are supported by their families and their community in helping them become the people God is calling them to be.

We are so proud of our Campus Ministers and cannot wait to see how God works through them this year.

Last week, we proudly welcomed our newest members into Nativity’s National Junior Honor Society! These students were recognized for their commitment to scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.

Congratulations to our newest NJHS members! May you continue to use your gifts to lead by example and serve others. 💙💛

Our 8th grade students are discovering that making music is about much more than learning notes and rhythms. Making music is about collaboration, listening, creativity, and community. Through our new Modern Band project, students are working with drums, electric bass, electric guitar, keyboard, and vocals while learning that every member of an ensemble has a meaningful role. Just as in any strong community, success comes when each person participates, listens to others, contributes their unique gifts, and works toward a common goal.

Each year, at the beginning of the school year and following Mass, Father Robert “Knights” our students. The "knighting" is a special Nativity tradition and a reminder of who we are called to be. Like the knights of old, our Nativity Knights are called to live their faith with courage, honor, devotion, and service. They are called to stand for what is right, protect those in need, lead with compassion, and use their God-given gifts in service to others. As our students begin another school year, may they remember that being a Nativity Knight is a call to live boldly in faith and let Christ guide the way. 💙💛

What a beautiful way to begin our school year together.

Last Friday, we celebrated our first all-school Mass of the year. Father reminded our students what a special gift it is to attend a Catholic school . This is a place where our entire school community can come together in faith to celebrate the Eucharist.

As we begin a new year centered on our theme, Let Peace Begin, we are reminded that true peace begins with Christ and grows through the way we love, serve, forgive, and care for one another each day.

May God bless our students, faculty, staff, and families as we begin this school year together. 💙💛
