As we gathered for our final school Mass of the year, we took a moment to thank God for all He has done in our school community.

This year was filled with learning, laughter, growth, friendships, challenges overcome, prayers shared, and countless moments of grace. Together, we celebrated achievements, supported one another through difficulties, and continued to grow in faith, knowledge, and service.

As we head into summer, we do so with grateful hearts for the memories we've made and excitement for all that lies ahead. Thank you to our students, families, faculty, staff, parish, and friends for making this year so special.

May God bless our Nativity family with a safe, joyful, and restful summer. We look forward to what He has in store for us next year! πŸ’™πŸ’›

From our youngest learners to our graduating 8th graders, our students have grown academically, spiritually, and personally in so many beautiful ways.

Celebrating 25 Years of Dedication

Today we proudly celebrate Mrs. Ana Valdes and 25 incredible years of teaching at Nativity Catholic School.

For a quarter century, Ana has brought joy, energy, and a genuine love of teaching to our students. Whether in her many years as a beloved 5th grade ELA teacher or now as our middle school Spanish teacher, she has inspired generations of students to work hard, think deeply, and discover the joy of learning.

Ana has always understood that great classrooms are built on both high expectations and meaningful relationships. Her students learned the value of a strong work ethic, but they also learned that learning should be engaging, joyful, and fun. From brain breaks filled with dancing to the familiar sounds of the "Friday Song" echoing through the halls each week, her classroom was a place where students felt challenged, supported, and loved.

Known for her vibrant spirit and love of family, Ana has also been a treasured friend and colleague to the faculty and staff who have worked alongside her throughout the years.

Ana has dedicated her career to helping students growβ€”not only academically, but as confident, compassionate young people. Her impact can be seen in the countless students whose lives she has touched and in the lasting memories she has helped create.

Mrs. Valdes, thank you for 25 years of passion, commitment, laughter, and love. Nativity is a better place because of you, and we are grateful for the countless ways you have enriched our school community.

Congratulations on this remarkable milestone! πŸ’™πŸ’›

Today, our 8th grade students celebrated one of the most emotional and meaningful traditions of their time at Nativity Catholic School β€” the 8th Grade Farewell.

The day began as students gathered together to watch a special video filled with memories from their journey through Nativity, from their earliest days in PK all the way through 8th grade. There were smiles, laughter, tears, and countless reminders of just how much these young men and women have grown over the years.

After the video, the Class of 2026 took their final walk through the halls of Nativity as students, parading through the building while teachers, staff, and fellow students lined the hallways to cheer them on and say goodbye. It was a beautiful moment of love, pride, gratitude, and tradition β€” one that reminds us that Nativity is truly a family.

We are so proud of the people they have become and so grateful for the memories they have given our school community. As they prepare for Promotion Mass, we pray they always carry a piece of Nativity with them wherever life may lead.

As they prepare to close this chapter as Nativity Knights, our 8th grade class spent yesterday living out the Gospel through service during their final class service project at Nativity Catholic School.

During their 8th Grade Day of Service, students worked together to pack food for less fortunate members of our Hollywood community, demonstrating compassion, leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to serving others with dignity and love.

This experience reflected our mission of putting faith into action and reminding our students that leadership begins with serving others. We are so proud of the way this Class of 2026 continues to model empathy, teamwork, responsibility, and Catholic Social Teaching as they move on to high school. πŸ’™πŸ’›

Teacher Appreciation Week was truly incredible, and it would not have been possible without the generosity and kindness of our amazing Nativity families.

From the thoughtful treats and meals to the gifts, decorations, notes, and countless acts of appreciation, you made our faculty and staff feel deeply loved, valued, and celebrated. Your support reminded all of us just how special the Nativity community truly is.

Our teachers give so much of themselves to our students each and every day, and seeing our families come together to honor them in such a meaningful way was a beautiful reflection of the partnership that makes Nativity what it is.

Thank you for helping make Teacher Appreciation such a tremendous success. We are beyond grateful for this faith-filled, generous, and supportive community that we are blessed to call family. πŸ’™πŸ’›
