Crafting perfection, one precise cut at a time. 🔨✨
Starting with a raw blank bone nut and using a laser cutter to create pilot slots just 0.005” wide, then dialing in fully compensated string spacing tailored to the player’s exact specs.
The result? A flawless bone nut that delivers:
• Perfect intonation
• Optimal resonance & sustain
• Rock-solid tuning stability
This isn’t just a nut — it’s a serious upgrade in feel and performance.

🚀 Want to take your alternate picking to world-class level?
Think Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert, Al Di Meola, Steve Morse — that kind of speed, precision, and effortlessness.
It all starts with one thing most players ignore: your breathing. Stay relaxed. Loose grip. I’ve seen guys holding the pick and neck like they’re trying to crush beer cans — don’t be that guy.
Keep your pick movement tiny. Stay on the top half of the string and barely leave it — we’re talking 1mm on each side (2mm total delta). Your right hand should move like a hummingbird.
Pivot from the wrist, rotate, or blend both — just stay relaxed. Tension is the enemy of speed.
Picking isn’t just a “metal” or “shred” thing. It’s the heavyweight champion of guitar techniques. Master it and country, bluegrass, rock, fusion… everything becomes way easier.

Jamming out on one of my favorite riffs right now 🔥🎸
This killer lick is from Andy Wood’s “Free Range Chicken” — the man is an absolute monster on the guitar. If you haven’t checked him out yet, you’re seriously missing out. One of the best pickers on the planet, hands down.

Precision fret slot cleanup with the Dremel.
Using a Dremel moto-tool as a router with a cutting bit to perfectly clean and size the fret slots — running exactly 0.001” over tang width and 0.002” over tang depth. This ensures the fretwire seats flush and tight against the fretboard with zero gaps.
Great fretwork always starts with flawless prep.
This is advanced-level work. One small slip with the Dremel and you’re looking at a chewed-up fretboard. Patience and steady hands are everything.

The iconic guitar solo to Night Ranger’s “Sister Christian” was performed by rock guitar legend Brad Gillis. The song was released 42 years ago this March (1984) and appears on their second album, Midnight Madness.
He played it using a Floyd Rose locking tremolo system ( #3, no fine tuners) through a Mesa/Boogie Mark IIC amplifier.
