Today, members of the North Oakland County Fire Authority were invited to speak to emergency medicine physicians, and medical students from multiple programs across southeast Michigan at the Fall Wilderness Medicine Symposium hosted by the Ascension Genesys Emergency Medicine Residency program. Pictured are: Lieutenant/Paramedic IC Miller, Sergeant/Paramedic Dunbar, FF/Paramedic IC Finkbeiner, and FF/Paramedic Campbell. Crews were able to discuss water rescue events, preparedness, and management as well as the capabilities of pre-hospital providers.
