The Reciprocal HMS Series students had a great September!

Our theme was backwards and sideways. Each pair showed great improvement in both maneuvers especially in doing the working equitation obstacles.

We ended our September workshop outside exploring at each pairs’ confidence level. Some went for a trail ride, others rode solo around the big grass arena and some took the opportunity to practice liberty in the round pen.

It’s hard to believe we only have one month left this year!

August was a busy month for the Reciprocal HMS students!

We focused on understanding learning theory and the 4 quadrants.

We discovered the power of improving proprioception for horse and rider with a variety of exercises.

Then we continued to apply what we are learning to riding a dressage test, working equitation obstacles and getting outside in the round pens for liberty & riding!

Here’s to a great September! We have 2 months left in the 2026 series!
