We had the privilege of coming together for a meaningful and moving 9/11 remembrance ceremony. It was a beautiful opportunity to honor the lives lost, recognize the courage and sacrifice of first responders and countless others, and reflect on the lasting impact of September 11, 2001.

We were especially proud of our eighth grade students, whose thoughtful and creative projects reflected their understanding of the events of 9/11 and the importance of remembering its lessons. Their work demonstrated compassion, respect, and a commitment to keeping the spirit of unity and remembrance alive.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today’s ceremony so meaningful, and to Mr. Matyas and Mr. Hensler for their leadership with our outstanding eighth grade projects.

We honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage of the first responders and ordinary people who helped others in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

May we never forget those we lost, and may we continue to choose compassion, unity, and hope.
