It’s been a busy season behind the scenes as Explora continues to take shape!

The exterior of the building is nearing completion with new windows installed, framing finished, and insulation in place. Decking and siding are expected to go up soon. Inside, the space is already feeling bright and welcoming as work now shifts to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.

We’re also working on the details that will make the space truly feel like Explora. Our custom classroom cubbies are being built and our sensory tables are being outfitted with wheels so they can move easily between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Beyond the building, we’re excited to share that enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year is off to a strong start, and we are currently hiring our teaching team. We’ve been incredibly encouraged by the quality of candidates interested in joining our community.

As a reminder, registration for our summer program is now open. It will be a wonderful opportunity for children to experience Explora, begin building relationships with our team, and enjoy the rhythms of our program before the school year begins. Our summer start date is planned for June 8, pending receipt of our Certificate of Occupancy.
