Sometimes the sweetest moments don't need a special occasion.

🐻 We're Going on a Bear Hunt! 🐻
Our Twos class had so much fun today going on a bear hunt! The children loved singing along as they explored the classroom, searching high and low for the bear.

After their adventure, the children practiced their fine motor skills by drawing their very own bears.

Camping Theme is in full swing here at Holly Springs School for Early Education!

One of the greatest gifts we can give children is independence.

As parents and educators, it's often easier to do things for the children, but real growth and development happen when we intentionally teach them to do things for themselves.

Simple tasks like hanging up their sweater, putting their water bottles in the Hydration Stations and washing their hands all lead to bigger independent abilities like making choices, problem solving and taking responsibility.

At HSSEE, we know that great classroom management isn't about controlling the children it's about creating a safe and nurturing environment where each child can take those steps to becoming more independent.

We are so excited to welcome all of the new families who will be joining Holly Springs School for Early Education this month!

Our infants absolutely love spending time outside!

Their time spent outside gives our youngest learners the opportunity to explore new sights and sounds, strengthen their growing muscles, and enjoy the many sensory experiences that nature has to offer.

Tomorrow, our Threes class and both PreK classes will be participating in relay games as part of our exciting Field Day celebration!

Families are welcome to come cheer on our little athletes! If you plan to attend, please let your child's teacher know.

🕘 Relay games will begin at 9:30 AM.

At this age, it's not about creating a picture that looks exactly like a crab, it's about developing the skills behind the artwork.

Drawing helps strengthen fine motor muscles, hand-eye coordination, pencil grip and creativity. So, remember, when your child comes home and says, "Look at the crab I drew!", we encourage you to celebrate their effort!
