Hop on over to our Annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 31 at 6 PM! The fun takes place inside the ballfield at Holly Ridge Municipal Park (417 Kraft St.).

This free event for children includes plenty of eggs and a special visit from the Easter Bunny for pictures. Gather the family and join us for a fun-filled evening!

HRQCC will be OPEN tomorrow.

Because OCPS closes 3 hours early, NC PREK classes will be dismissed at 12:00 pm. Students who are enrolled in Wrap Around Care will spend the rest of the day with HRQCC.

School-age students (middle and elementary students) will be picked up by HRQCC afterschool bus drivers 3 hours early and spend the rest of the afternoon with HRQCC.

If the weather situation changes, we will notify families through Procare, email and Facebook. Please direct questions about the day to the main office. Thank you!

It’s that time of year again—One Place is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year for both NC Pre-K and Three School. Intake appointments will begin on Tuesday, March 10th. After you submit your application, please check your confirmation email for the booking link, and be sure to look in your spam folder if you don’t see it. We encourage everyone to apply for these free educational programs. Applications are not processed on a first-come, first-served basis, so we appreciate your patience as One Place completes intake appointments through mid to late summer. We also recommend adding your child to the wait list for our competitive private preschool programs in case a spot in NC Pre-K or Three School is unavailable.

Holly Ridge Quality has some private preschool spots available in our threes and fours classrooms. *children must be fully potty trained to attend HRQCC* We also have availability in our before and after care school age program. School Age students are transported to/from Dixon and Coastal Elementary Schools
