Proud moment! 🎵

Smits Music’s own Kaiya Smits auditioned and got accepted for the Jr. Central District Music Festival! It was her first audition. She plays oboe. She is 1 of 6 oboist that were selected. We are awaiting her assignment (either orchestra or wind ensemble).☺️

Pictured with her Middle School band director, Mr. Grina, at the audition site, along side some pics throughout the years. Kaiya started oboe when she was in 4th grade. Currently, she is in 7th grade.

Free concert! Hear some amazing flautists in quartet. If you can’t make it in person, they have a digital stream at the end of the month. 🎶
