Imagine Technical Institute

What happens when we stop focusing on limitations and start recognizing potential? Opportunities happen. Lives change. Futures change.

On October 13, Imagine Technical Institute joined community partners Arc of the Ozarks, Rehabilitation Services for the Blind, Developmental Center of the Ozarks, Firefly, MERS Goodwill, and Vocational Rehabilitation for a reverse job fair that put individuals with disabilities, their skills, and their potential in the spotlight. This was an opportunity to build connections, open doors, and show employers the power of inclusive employment.

We don’t create jobs. We create opportunity. And opportunity changes lives.

Director Josh and Competitive Employment Advisor Malissa are headed to the MACDDS conference today, and they’re excited to connect with professionals from across Missouri!

MACDDS is the Missouri Association of County Developmental Disabilities Services, bringing together professionals from throughout the state who work to support people with developmental disabilities and their families.

The duo is looking forward to gaining fresh perspectives, exploring new ideas and sharing experiences with others who are passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities.

We know they’ll come home with plenty of ideas and inspiration to put to work at ITI!

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

There is something truly special about helping individuals with disabilities discover their abilities, build confidence, and find meaningful competitive employment. It’s about more than a job. It’s about purpose, independence, belonging, and knowing that you matter.

We are incredibly grateful to do this work—to support, encourage, and celebrate the individuals who continue to show us what is possible.

Everyone has potential. Sometimes, they just need someone to believe in it.
