We are so proud of these students who, after years and years of learning and becoming the bright stars that they are, have now flown the nest. ¡Buena suerte, amigos! You don't need a playroom. You don't need matching wooden shelves. You don't need a lot of money.

You just need a few simple principles and a willingness to look at your home through your child's eyes. 👀

Living Montessori Now has a wonderfully practical guide to setting up a Montessori-friendly space at home. The two essentials? A child-sized table and chair, and a low shelf where materials are organized and accessible. Rotate what's out. Keep it simple. Let your child know where things live and how to return them.

It sounds small. But when children can find what they need, use it with care, and put it back themselves, they feel capable. And capable children thrive.
