The Hollis FCCLA chapter wrapped up the year with a celebratory end‑of‑year banquet recognizing student leadership, service, and accomplishments. The evening highlighted the year in review, installation of new chapter officers, and newly crowned FCCLA King and Queen. Special recognition was given to the seniors. Good luck to each of you in your life after high school. Thank you to all our guests who came to help celebrate us!

Four Hollis FCCLA members were able to attend the 80th FCCLA State Convention at the Arvest Convention Center in Tulsa this week. This is always a fun and exciting time to bond as chapter members as well as catch up with friends that were made from previous FCCLA events.

On this trip we heard from keynote speaker, Patrick Grady, whose message was setbacks don’t define you, your response does. No matter how impossible the odds, determination and belief can turn obstacles into extraordinary achievements. It’s all up to you!

We got to see Mrs. Kyanne Robinson accept an Honorary Member award on behalf of her beloved mother Ginger Seibold, who had a lasting positive impact on the Oklahoma FCCLA world.

We also had a fun time shopping at the mall as well as putting our heads together and breaking out of the escape room just in the nick of time!

Big thanks to our community and the support that allowed us to attend this trip and make these memories.

The turn out of the blood drive is looking great!! We only need four more donors to meet our goal. We encourage anyone to come donate blood or donate food for the food drive. Thanks for the support!

Tomorrow is our blood drive and our food drive!! Canned Food, Non-perishable items, Dry Cereals, and Prepackaged Food are all welcome to be dropped of tomorrow at the civic center!!
