The Batten Leadership Institute was excited to welcome incoming students and their families during Enrolled Student Day! We enjoyed sharing what BLI has to offer and inviting students to literally "Make Their Mark on Hollins" through our sidewalk chalk activity.

What are our students up to this summer? ☀️

The Batten Leadership Institute had 3 students attend the NEW Leadership VA program at George Mason University this past weekend!

Liah-Rae Tucker, Caroline Pappas, and Madison Friedman spent this past weekend meeting with women leaders, building their leadership skills, and making connections! 💪

They crossed the stage, earned the diploma, survived group projects, 8 a.m. classes, and approximately 100 iced coffees a semester… and they also earned their BLI Leadership Certificate 💛✨

We may be a little late posting (leadership takes time, okay?), but we could never let these graduates go uncelebrated.

These students dedicated themselves to growing as leaders, serving their communities, and making an impact both inside and outside the classroom. We are so proud of all the hard work, passion, and perseverance they brought to BLI.

We'd like to thank everyone who has attended a Leading Together Series event this year! We have enjoyed having such interesting and productive conversations with everyone. 💚 💛
