See the mats under these people at the 33rd AIKC in Webster on 11/15/25? Well here they are in the dojo. They didn’t move themselves. I am the most blessed man in the world to have friends/students who will give up time, sweat, equipment, money, and blood to help! I can never thank Bob Coots, Linda Coots, Evan Coots, Ryan Coots, Scott Underwood, T Underwood, Mason Underwood, Sempai Ryan Snfillipo, Isaac Sugar, David Bataglia, Ally, Chuckles, Chuck and KJ enough! (I hope I didn’t miss anyone!)

These people and so many more (Hannah, Lorene, Renee,…) made the tournament work. Thank you!

I took a fight on 20 minutes notice yesterday. I had to borrow a uniform, belt, cup, and mouthpiece. (I am not sure if the last two were loans, but I gave them back anyway.) I lost on a fair decision by excellent officials. I did get a cool photo out of the deal, and only one minor bruise. At my current age of 26 and 3/4 (or so), the photo is worth more than a trophy.
