Happy Last Day of School! Don’t forget paper plate awards at Nick Lear’s house at Noon today. Bring your swimsuit.

One last team party…The paper plate awards will be at Nick Lear’s house on Tuesday, 6/9 (last day of school for underclassmen) at Noon. The pool will be open and warm, bring your suits.

Attention Swim Families- We have not heard from everyone if they are coming to the banquet, tomorrow, 3/19. The links to RSVP and pay were sent out by Coach Scott in Parent Square. We need to have a correct headcount for the caterer and to make sure that there is appropriate seating. Please be sure to include the swimmer in the count for how many from your family is attending.

Trenton’s Nicholas Lear to continue swimming career at Walsh College The multiple-time all-area swimmer finalized his college decision back in late February.

A message from Coach Scott:

To experience this past weekend was something really special for the parents, coaches, and athletes. I wish for every swimmer and diver to get to see this atmosphere with their own eyes. Incredible!

Everyone swam so hard and focused and we saw some crazy good results. Among the highlights were:
Hunter Julian -- 9th overall in 50 Free (21.91)
Nick Lear -- 12th in 100 Back (55.85)
Zach Schoen -- 12th in 200 Free (1:48), 10th in 500 (4:54)
Brandon Watkins -- 12th in 500 free (4:58)
400 Free Relay -- 12th (3:19.65) -- Julian, AJ Kayal, Schoen, Watkins
Diving -- Tyler Clements 21st, Simon Durbin 31st overall

Bryan Simon, Bryan Durbin, and Aaron Clark also swam great and were tremendous teammates. We have so much to be proud of!

States Day 2. Let’s Go!

State Team Update: Schoen, Julian, Watkins, Lear, and the 400 yard relay (Julian, Kayal, Schoen, & Watkins) all made it in the top 16 and will advance to finals tomorrow. Let’s Go Trojans!

Trenton and Riverview representing downriver. Trenton has swimmers and divers in 10 of the 12 events. Good luck to everyone competing in the State meet today and tomorrow.
