A new chapter for Phelps Dining is taking shape! 🏗️✨

We’re making exciting progress on the Phelps Dining transformation. These photos highlight the updates underway today, along with a look back at the original spaces that inspired these improvements.

One of the most exciting additions will be The Zone, located in the former Maas Lobby. This dedicated allergen-friendly dining area will feature its own separate kitchen and fryer, providing students with greater confidence, care, and peace of mind when selecting allergen-conscious meal options.

We’re also redesigning the Breakfast Nook with a more open, welcoming concept. Students will enjoy their breakfast favorites in a refreshed, vibrant space.

Every detail of this transformation is being thoughtfully designed to enhance the student dining experience and create spaces where students can feel comfortable, supported, and at home.

This fall, we're bringing more variety and customization to the Phelps dining experience with our new Global Bowl station. 🌎🥣

Built around the idea that great meals can be made your way, the Global Bowl station gives students the opportunity to explore bold flavors, mix and match ingredients, and create a bowl that fits their tastes.

The Za'atar Bowl will be one of the flavorful options available, bringing together creamy hummus, warm shawarma chicken, tandoori-spiced chickpeas, garam masala sweet potatoes, pickled onions, citrus olives, crunchy grain slaw, and more.

Whether you're coming back for a familiar favorite or trying a new combination, we're excited to give students even more ways to enjoy meals they look forward to.

Looking for a convenient place where your student can grab a meal, study, or meet up with friends? ☕📚

This fall, we're excited to welcome students to Aura, the new café located in the Haworth Hotel lobby. Serving Starbucks beverages alongside a variety of food options, Aura offers a comfortable space for studying, connecting with friends, or enjoying a quick bite between classes.

Best of all, all food and drinks at Aura can be purchased using Dining Dollars, making it an easy and convenient option for your student throughout the semester.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back to campus this fall!

This month's Random Act of Yum was all about showing appreciation.

The Hope College Physical Plant team plays a vital role in supporting Hope Dining Services throughout the year, and we wanted to thank them for their partnership and dedication. As a small gesture of gratitude, we delivered fresh fruit and donuts to their team.

🍜 Sneak peek of what’s coming to Phelps!

Today we previewed one of our newest menu offerings: Dashi Noodle Bar, arriving at our Global Bowl station once renovations are complete this upcoming school year.

Featuring soft noodles, crunchy kimchi, savory beef, and a flavorful spicy ginger beef broth, this bowl is just one example of the exciting new dining options headed to campus.

We’re looking forward to offering students even more variety, global flavors, and fresh experiences at Phelps this year — and we hope you’re just as excited as we are! ✨

This past Sunday, Phelps Dining had the privilege of hosting our annual commencement brunch as we celebrated the Hope College Class of 2026 🧡💙🎓

It was a joyful and emotional morning as graduates gathered alongside family and friends to share one final meal together on campus. Guests enjoyed a wide variety of brunch favorites and chef-crafted dishes, including havarti egg scramble, asiago spinach gemelli, boursin mashed potatoes, grilled flank steak, citrus & herb roasted chicken, and many more delicious selections 🍽️✨

We are so thankful to have been part of so many students’ journeys during their time at Hope College. To our graduates, congratulations on this incredible accomplishment! We wish you success, happiness, and new adventures in the exciting chapter ahead 💙🧡
