Given the choice most students would opt out of this preparation and performance given the hard work and time that it takes to invest. It's hard to believe that it's time already to audition for camp scholarships. On December 2 and 3 the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp will be here to audition students to be considered for a merit scholarship to the fine arts camp the summer of 2016. Auditions are very easy and quick. Any orchestra student wanting to be considered for the Holland Orchestra Parents Scholarship (worth up to $200 for a music camp experience and $100 for private lessons) must audition for the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. The HPS instrumental Music Department is renting instruments for some students in our orchestra program. If your child is using a school owned instrument they must pay a nominal fee of $60 for the entire year. This fee goes toward instrument upkeep, strings, gluing seams, fixing endpins etc... .
