the East Great Oaks Qualifier has already given us a pretty amazing weekend: chilly air, sunny skies, full sails, and plenty of good racing.

the layers are on, the sun is shining, and there’s still one more day of sailing to go. let’s make the most of it. 🌊☀️

🏆 the wooden shoe fall regatta is almost here!
this saturday, october 3, we’re bringing the racing action home to macatawa bay! sailors from across the region are heading to mbja for a full day of friendly competition, fast 420s, and some serious fall sailing.

⛵ racing kicks off at 12:30, with awards to follow. come cheer on our sailors as they take on the home waters!

come hang with us at the macatawa water festival! 🌊⛵️

kollen park is turning into a celebration of lake macatawa, with 20+ local organizations bringing hands-on activities, kayaking, games, and plenty of ways to learn about the water we all love.

we’ll be there representing mbja, so come say hi, talk sailing, and spend the day learning, exploring, and getting out on the water!

best part? it’s totally free and fun for all ages. 💙

crappy weather. great day. 🏆⛵️

our first race of B fleet at the Community Sailing School Regatta was one to remember. Logan Luong at the helm with Evan Hill on crew sailed their way to a 1st place finish!

the weather may have been doing its best to make things interesting, but these two kept after it and got the job done.

the air is getting cooler, the days are getting shorter, and there’s still plenty of sailing left to do.

fall means school teams, crisp mornings, regattas, and that feeling that the season is changing but the adventure isn’t over yet.

the season may be changing, but we’re still out here. keep following along, cheer on our sailors, and stay part of the mbja crew all season long. 🌊
