your middle school sailing team is waiting ⛵️
if you’re in 6th or 7th grade, you can join mbja’s middle school sailing program and race with sailors from schools all across the area.
whether you’re at west ottawa, holland, zeeland, hamilton, holland christian, black river, or another local school, there’s a spot for you on the water.
already sailed with mbja? perfect. completed an opti or 420 camp? you’re ready to race.

spectrum sailing is back in holland for a three-day camp designed specifically for autistic youth ages 10–17.
hosted by mbja, spectrum sailing runs august 15–17 from 9am–12pm, giving young sailors the chance to learn knots, sailing fundamentals, water safety, and most importantly how to sail!
the best part? this camp is 100% free for every kid who attends.

meet anneke hackney. 💙⛵️
whether she’s coaching on the water, encouraging sailors from the coach boat, or celebrating every little win, anneke brings so much energy and positivity to mbja.
our sailors are lucky to learn from coaches who love the sport and care just as much about building confidence as they do building great sailors.
