Congratulations to Addy, the “Student of the Month” for July! Addy is junior at West Ottawa High School and in her second year of voice lessons. This award celebrates a great summer of learning where Addy took lessons every week, focusing on preparing for the school year and participating in our studio street performing. She works hard to meet her goals with consistent practice and an excellent drive to learn. During the school year, Addy sings in the Vocalaires and Women’s Select Ensemble, plus she is involved in all theatre productions. She also volunteers as an Intern with the high school athletic trainers, and she is on the Holland Youth Advisory committee. Outside of school she works at The Curragh and loves to do a variety crafts. Addy is a joy to teach, making her the perfect “student of month” for July!

Congratulations to Calla, the “Student of the Month” for June. Calla will be a 7th grader at Harbor Lights Middle School in the West Ottawa School District this fall, and she just began her 4th year of piano lessons this summer. This award celebrates a fantastic spring semester of learning, with outstanding progress, consistent practice and an excellent attitude toward learning. Along with playing piano, Calla is a excellent runner, participating in track, cross-country, and weightlifting in school, plus running in local community races. She also loves to read, draw, hike and be out in nature. She is one 1 of 6 siblings, 5 who take piano lessons at Music by Lemmenes. Calla is driven and a delight to teach, making her the perfect “student of month” for June!

2026 Recital Awards: Legacy Award, Senior Awards, Student of the Month Recognition.

Spring Recital 2026 - A beautiful celebration of learning! Congratulations to all my students. I’m so very proud of each of you!

Congratulations to Christie Ricketts, the “Student of the Month” for May. Christie just graduated from Zeeland East High School and has studied voice her senior year, flourishing in musical theater, working with exceptional practice and growth. She also participated in choir, theatre, and works as a lifeguard and swim instructor. Highlights from this year include the leading role of Wednesday in “The Addams Family” musical, and being chosen to compete at the 2026 Sutton Foster Awards, celebrating high school musical theatre across Michigan. This fall she will attend University of Buffalo, New York to pursue a Bachelor’s Fine Arts in Musical Theatre.
