Today was a wonderful day with the Tulip City beauty school cosmetology students. We talked consultation, dry curly cutting and product application with diffusing.
Each team truly did an amazing job shaping their mannequins! The future of wavy, curly and coily hair cutting is looking bright!

We are saddened to share the passing of our friend, colleague and former instructor, Michele Hayes (Macdonald), known to many of our alumni as “Miss Michele.” Michele joined Tulip City Beauty College in 2012 and spent nearly 10 years with Moored Beauty Schools as a cosmetology instructor and admissions counselor, leaving a lasting impact on so many lives. She was always smiling, always encouraging, and deeply dedicated to her students and coworkers. Michelle helped shape countless future cosmetology professionals and supported so many as a mentor, friend, and positive presence. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy lives on through her family and everyone whose lives she touched. We are sharing the details for her visitation and service below for those who wish to honor and remember her.
