🎉 Congratulations to Gloria Kozak, a member of the Elinski Group, for being awarded a 2026 Goldwater Scholarship. This national award recognizes excellence in Gloria's current work and her promising future in research. 👩‍🔬

🏆 The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship is considered the most prestigious undergraduate award of its type in the natural sciences, engineering, and mathematics in the United States, designed to identify the next generation of research leaders. Out of 1,485 nominated students, the Goldwater Board has awarded 454 scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Maya Lunt from the Sanford group won the Gentex Corporation poster presentation award at Hope College’s Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (CURCA) last Friday. 👏 The award recognized her knowledge of, her enthusiasm for, and the relevance of her research to the Gentex Corporation. Congratulations, Maya!
