Friday was an active day at HAA. The day began with the older students putting on a puppet show about the importance of showing kindness to everyone. Then there was an exciting Art class where the students made owls using pine cones. Finally the younger students collected things from outdoors and created something unique with all the items.
A special nature friend at the window was an awesome way to end the day.

Miss Rachael’s students enjoyed “diving” into a fish dissection this week in science class. Once they got over the initial queasy feeling, the students found this to be a very interesting lab.

HAA is so blessed to have a beautiful garden on campus because of a wonderful team of church members who have volunteered their time all summer long to care for it. Kudos to all of them🤗

Because of their efforts, the students on Friday were able to create flower arrangements to give to family, neighbors and friends, sharing in our bounty and God’s beauty in nature.

We had an amazing first day of the Harmony program on Friday. From an art class on drawing, learning to sing from your diaphragm, earning the Adventurer physical fitness honor to outdoor education where students spent time observing nature and journaling, it was quite an enriching learning experience for not only the school children but also the other students registered in the program.
If you know other students who would benefit from this program, we have limited space available. Please reach out to the school.

Because of generous donations, the school was able to purchase the seven days of creation pictures by Nathan Greene. Every day our students will be blessed seeing the beauty of all God has created.
Happy Sabbath.
