Our annual end of the year fishing trip with Mr Z on his charter boat was yesterday and today! We had so much fun fishing with him! 🎣🛥️

✨ Last week, we held our 17th Annual CTC FFA Awards Banquet! ✨

A huge thank you to The Red Shed + Byre 53: Two Unique Event Venues for always being such a gracious host, to Leanne Hathaway for capturing amazing photos, and to our admin, state officers, FFA in the USA reporters, families, and students for making the night so special. 💙💛

What an incredible year it’s been, and we loved taking the time to celebrate YOU and all your hard work and accomplishments! 🌽🐄🏆

Did you know the Bleed Gold Showdown is more than just a show — it’s also a fundraiser supporting our local FFA chapters! 💛
We’re excited to support not only the Careerline Tech Center FFA Chapter, but also the new West Michigan FFA Chapter this year.

Funds raised through the show help students purchase their FFA jackets and attend leadership conventions and opportunities that make a lasting impact on their future.

3 years ago I started at CTC as a young agriculture teacher fresh out of student teaching, and it has been a journey that challenged me and helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect.

Teaching isn’t always easy, but I am truly grateful for the opportunity and for the students I have had the chance to work with. So many of you made a lasting impact on me, and you will always be my “kiddos.”

I will be staying in Region V and continuing to teach ag, just in a new place. While I’m looking forward to this next chapter, I will miss many of my students and coworkers.

Thank you for the lessons, the growth, and the moments that made it all worth it.
