Hi Friends,
I wanted to share a personal update with my Heart Rock family.
Right now, I’m back at Dogs Bay full time, and as we head into summer — our busiest season — I’ve realized I need to step back from Heart Rock for a little while. This wasn’t an easy decision, because Heart Rock is truly close to my heart, and I love what we’ve built together.
Because of this, I’ll be taking the summer off. The Cabin will be closed, and I will not be filling orders during this time so I can focus where I’m most needed right now.
Heart Rock isn’t going anywhere. I have lots of ideas brewing, and I’m really looking forward to coming back this fall refreshed, inspired, and ready to dive back in.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and for being part of this beautiful community. It means more to me than you know.
Wishing you a peaceful, healthy summer 🌿

Paw licking is often a sign of irritation, allergies, or inflammation. Sometimes it looks behavioral, but many times the body is trying to tell you something deeper.

Recurring ear infections are often part of the bigger allergy-gut picture. The ears may be where the body is shouting, but the gut may be where the trouble started.

What a wonderful evening at our Happy Tummy Happy Tails Workshop. We talked about gut health, natural support, and everyone created their own gut-supporting herbal tea to take home. It was so fun connecting with fellow dog lovers who want to support their dogs naturally. Here are a few photos from our time together. If you missed this one, don’t worry… more workshops are coming soon.

Did you know licking actually helps calm your dog’s nervous system? Licky mats are a simple and effective way to reduce anxiety while also supporting digestion. Spreading pumpkin, yogurt, bone broth, or herbal tea on a licky mat creates a calming, enriching experience that benefits both the body and mind. Sometimes the simplest tools are the most powerful.

A healthy gut is the foundation of your dog’s overall wellness. When the gut is supported, you may notice fewer allergies, improved digestion, better mood, and stronger immunity. Simple additions like herbal tea, bone broth, and pumpkin can make a meaningful difference over time. Small changes truly create big impact when it comes to your dog’s health.

A good quality broad-spectrum CBD oil may help calm inflammation, support the gut, and reduce stress. Quality matters, and yes, we carry trusted options at Heart Rock Healing & A-Pawthecary.

That sweet little cabin on our property is home to Heart Rock Healing & A-Pawthecary, and it’s packed with natural support for dogs and their people. Tiny cabin. Big mission.

Plain pumpkin can be helpful, but it is not a cure-all. If your dog has chronic gut issues, itching, or allergies, there is usually more going on than just needing more fiber.

Bone broth is one of my favorite gentle gut tools. It adds moisture, nourishment, and comfort for dogs with sensitive digestion. Keep it plain, clean, and dog-safe.

A healthier gut helps support the immune system, which matters during allergy season and all the other doggie cooties floating around out there. The gut is a big part of how the body stays resilient.
