Facilities available at the Holdrege Center include:

The center is located at 1308 Second Street, on the east side of the Phelps County Ag Center at the Phelps County Fairgrounds. The Holdrege Center opened in 1995 to serve Franklin, Furnas, Gosper, Harlan, Kearney and Phelps Counties. CCC offers 33 career and technical education programs with a focus on degree, diploma and certificate programs requiring two years or less to complete. The college also offers an academic transfer program for students who want to complete the first two years of a bachelors degree before transferring to a 4-year college or university. In addition, the college offers classes in communities throughout its 25-county service area, online learning, and training and development for businesses, industries and other organizations.

Central Community College is proud to announce it has once again been asked to participate in the eighth year of the prestigious Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI). Supported by a generous $15,000 aimed at enhancing the criminal justice program. As a six-time MSI participant, CCC has received $180,000 in support of career and technical education programs throughout the initiative’s existence.

"Being selected for the sixth consecutive year is an incredible honor and a testament to the strength of CCC’s criminal justice program and our commitment to workforce development," said Michael David, criminal justice program director. "The continued investment from the Metallica Scholars Initiative not only supports our students but also helps meet the growing need for well-trained public safety professionals throughout central Nebraska."

Heartsaver Total (CPR/AED/First Aid)
The Heartsaver Total course is designed for individuals with little or no medical background who need first aid, AED and CPR training to meet work or other regulatory requirements like OSHA. It is also ideal for anyone who wants to be prepared to respond effectively to emergencies at work, home, or in the community.

Saturday, Sept. 12, 12 noon-5 p.m. $76

Individuals who only want the CPR and AED training can take that separately on the same night, from 12 noon-3 p.m. The cost for CPR/AED only is $63.
