April has come and gone already. We are already counting down the few days that are left until Graduations!
Easter Week: This week was focused on Resurrection and Life. Lots of activities and worksheets with eggs and bunnies! We also covered #16 & the color silver.

Tiny Tots and Building Blocks got to have a Movie Party since they filled their Kindness Jars. Stepping Stones made Resurrection Rolls.
Spring Week: We put chicken eggs into an incubator. Flowers, kites, and butterflies took over our worksheets and activities. We also covered #16 & the color silver. Stepping Stones planted flower seeds.

Letter V Week: All 3 classes went on their last library trip of the year. We also discussed #17, star, and the color magenta. Building Blocks class planted veggies. Blocks and Stones made volcanoes (outside 😉). Jesus Time covered the true Vine bible verse.

Letter W Week: Watermelon, wagons, and worms were crafted. All 3 classes did an Earth Day Scavenger Hunt outside. We covered # 17, diamond, and magenta. The Stones class went to visit their friends at Memorial Homes. Jonah and the Whale is a familiar one to most kids so we worked on Story Recall and Story Sequencing.

Letter X Week: X-ray and xylophones were the crafts for the week. All 3 classes went on an X Marks the Spot scavenger hunt also. This week included #18, diamond, and aqua. Stepping Stones started exploring telling time. Crucifix was our Jesus Time word.
Our eggs have hatched! We have 15 chicks in the classroom to stay for the next week.
