White Mountain Karate Karate for children and adults. Classes are designed for self defense, fitness, focus and a healthy way of life. Knife defense classes offered.

Classes range in age from 3-4, all the way through adult. Women's self protection workshops are also available monthly and private sessions as well.

WE’RE NOT LOOKING FOR KARATE KIDS.

We’re looking for regular kids.

Shy kids.
Energetic kids.
Kids who struggle with confidence.
Kids who have trouble speaking up for themselves.
Kids who have never thrown a punch or kick in their lives.

Because your child doesn’t need to be good at karate to walk through our doors.

That’s what we’re here for.

At White Mountain Karate, we use traditional Uechi-Ryu Karate and practical self-defense to help students become more confident, more aware, and more capable—one class at a time.

They’ll learn how to stand their ground.
How to set boundaries.
How to protect themselves.
How to handle being uncomfortable.
And most importantly, how to discover what they’re capable of.

🥋 New students can start with our 3-Class Intro for $69 and receive a FREE karate uniform.

No experience needed.

No need to “get in shape first.”

No need to already be confident.

Self-defense starts before someone ever puts their hands on you.

In this drill, our students are learning how to establish their personal space—their safety bubble—and clearly communicate when someone is getting too close.

They practice using their voice, setting a firm boundary, and responding when someone continues to step into their space.

These are simple skills, but incredibly important ones.

At White Mountain Karate, we believe self-protection is a mindset. Self-defense is a skill set. Both need to be practiced.

WHAT WOULD YOUR CHILD DO?

Your child is walking a short distance away from you in a store.

An unfamiliar adult approaches and says:

“Your mom or dad asked me to come get you.”

What would your child actually do?

At White Mountain Karate, we believe self-protection starts long before a punch or kick.

Awareness. Distance. Using your voice. Recognizing when something isn’t right. Knowing when to get away—and having the confidence to act.

These are skills children can learn and practice.

Of course, we teach traditional Uechi-Ryu Karate. But we also teach practical, age-appropriate self-protection skills designed for the world our students actually live in.

Programs available for ages 4 through adult.
