The lady longhorn linksters had their first tournament today in Hugoton. The tournament format was modified due to the extreme heat we have been experiencing, with the ladies playing 9 holes instead of the traditional 18. The Lady Longhorns finished 7th and we led by Mckenzie Simon, who placed 15th overall with a score of 54. The combined team score for the day was 260, Syracuse was the tournament champion with a combined team score of 183. The lady longhorns next action will be Tuesday, September 8, in Goodland for the Goodland Invitational.

Staff Spotlight: Taneal Unruh. She is our Inter-Related Teacher. She has been a great addition and does so well with all of the students.

Meet Kip Nichols. He is our 7th grade Geography Teacher. He has brought a lot of joy and Beef Jerky to the MS. We are excited for him this year and his new adventure teaching Teen Cuisine. We hope he can teach these kids to make some top notch Beef Jerky for all of us :)
