Not every use of AI has to be groundbreaking.

If all it does for you right now is help draft emails, newsletters, or announcements, that’s okay if that’s your comfort level.

Saving time. Reducing stress. Getting a little bit of your life back after school.

That’s not “small.” That’s sustainable.

Our students can generate ideas faster than ever. That part is easy now.

The harder skill is knowing what to keep, what to question, and what to throw out.

If we’re teaching creation, we also have to teach curation.

Dr. King warned us about systems that look neutral on the surface but actually create unfair outcomes. That sounds a lot like AI right now, doesn't it? It’s trained on human data, which means it reflects our history—biases and all.

As teachers, we can't just show students how to use these tools. We have to teach them to question them. Let's use AI to invite more critical thinking into our classrooms, not just speed things up.

AI is not the problem. Unquestioned systems are.

Swipe through for some practical, easy ways to bring this mindset into your lessons.

An 18th-century Italian art song finally clicked for a student today…
and it had nothing to do with more notes, more diction, or more markings.

We used AI as a thinking partner to translate Caro Mio Ben into something a teenager actually understands: the feeling of being left on read.

What started as a joke turned into a real musical breakthrough. Suddenly the dynamics mattered. The phrasing had purpose. The emotion was real.

This is the kind of AI use I care about.
Not shortcuts. Not replacements.
Just better conversations that help students connect with the art.

How are you helping students bridge the gap between old content and modern experience?

The AI journey in schools is messy.
That’s not a bug. It’s the work.

If you’re experimenting, questioning, adjusting, and learning as you go—you’re doing it right.

Keep going. 👏

You’re the CEO.
AI is your assistant, not the other way around. 🎯

The key to using AI well in teaching is simple:
You decide. AI supports.

Think head chef and sous-chef.
You choose the menu. AI preps the ingredients.

Use AI for drafting, brainstorming, and saving time.
Keep student-specific decisions and your core teaching values in your hands.
