At The Red House Academy, we approach teaching with a child-centered philosophy. We had SO much fun at our annual pumpkin-picking trip to Nihtila Farm today! 🧡🎃 A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families who joined us and helped make today so special!

We love getting together each year to make memories, enjoy the fall season, and watch our little pumpkins grow! 🍁🥰 These are the moments that make our Red House Academy family so special! ❤️

🍎✨ Let’s Take a Look Back at Our September! ✨🍎

September was such a fun and exciting month here at The Red House Academy! We kicked off our new school year by welcoming both our returning friends and some brand-new faces into their classrooms. ❤️🏫

Throughout the month, our children explored so many fun and exciting themes, including Back to School, All About Me, Shapes & Colors, Numbers & Letters, and Apples! 🍎🔤🎨

Our classrooms were filled with learning, laughter, creativity, and plenty of hands-on fun! From creating special projects to making new friends and building wonderful memories, our children had so much fun getting back into the swing of things. 🥰

We are so excited for all the learning, adventures, and memories still to come this school year! 💕✨

🍦 I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for ICE CREAM! 🍦

We wrapped up our summer fun with a very special Ice Cream Day with Ellie’s Treats! 🍨☀️ What a sweet way to end such a fun-filled summer!

I hope all of our children enjoyed every minute of our summer adventures, from water play, our foam party, face painting, Joe’s Crazy Critters, yoga, music, tie-dye day, PJ day, and Pirate Day! 🏴‍☠️🎨💦🎶

Our teachers have had SO much fun making special memories and enjoying all of these activities right alongside the children! ❤️

As we say goodbye to summer, we’re excited to welcome a NEW SCHOOL YEAR! 📚✏️🍎

The children AND teachers are looking forward to seeing everyone and kicking off a fantastic year together on Monday! 🎉

🏴‍☠️⚓ Ahoy, Mateys! What a FUN Pirate Day! ⚓🏴‍☠️

Today our little pirates dressed up in their best pirate gear and enjoyed a day full of swashbuckling fun! 🏴‍☠️🗺️

Our friends searched around the playground for hidden treasure 💰, played with “cannon balls” outside ⚫, and enjoyed some delicious pirate treats! 🍪🏴‍☠️

What a treasure-filled day with our amazing little pirates! ❤️💙 We had SO much fun! ⚓️☠️

🫧🎶 What a FOAMTASTIC way to start off the week! 🎶🫧

Our little friends had the BEST time at our foamy bubble party! 💦🤍 They danced to the music, laughed with their friends, and had so much fun jumping, playing, and exploring in all the bubbly foam! 🫧💃🕺

There were smiles, giggles, and LOTS of bubbles all around! What better way to kick off the week than with a little foam-filled fun?! 🥰🫧

🐢🐍🦔 Critter Day at The Red House Academy! 🐸🕷️

A HUGE thank you to Joe’s Crazy Critters for visiting us today and teaching us all about some amazing animals! ❤️

Our little explorers got to learn about and meet a tortoise, snapping turtle, ducks, frogs, several different kinds of snakes, a hedgehog, chinchilla, tarantula, and MORE! 🐢🐢🦆🐸🐍🦔🕷️

The children were SO curious and excited to see these incredible critters up close! They asked questions, explored, observed, and learned so much! 🔎✨

What a fun-filled day of hands-on learning and animal adventures! 🥰🐾

🐐🐰🦆 A Day Full of Animal Adventures at The Red House Academy! 🐹☀️

Today our friends at The Red House Academy had a very special visit from the amazing animals of Channell Homestead! Our children were so excited to meet and learn about some new furry and feathered friends, including goats, guinea pigs, bunnies, ducks, and more! 💛

The children had the opportunity to take turns gently petting the animals, observing their unique features, and discovering fun facts about each one. It was such a wonderful hands-on learning experience filled with curiosity, smiles, and lots of excitement! 🐾✨

A huge thank you to Channell Homestead for bringing these sweet animals to visit and creating such a memorable experience for our children. We are so grateful for the smiles, laughter, and learning you brought to our center! ❤️

Happy Monday from The Red House Academy! ☀️

Our friends kicked off the week with a fun-filled morning of outdoor learning and play! Today’s exciting activities included:
💦 Ring toss using water jugs and pool noodle rings
🎨 Spray bottle “painting”
🫧 Shaving cream sensory play with pool noodle stacking
⚽ Box and tape ball rolling challenges
🎈 Balloon toss with friends

These hands-on activities encouraged teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, fine and gross motor development, and, most importantly, lots of smiles and laughter! We love creating meaningful play experiences that keep our busy learners engaged while having fun outdoors.

What a wonderful way to start a Monday morning! 🌞💚

🎨✨ What a fun-filled day at The Red House Academy! Yesterday our friends had a blast getting their faces painted. We saw superheroes like Spider-Man and The Flash, magical unicorns, and of course, everyone’s favorite ice queen, Elsa! 💙❄️

No matter what their faces were painted as, our favorite part was seeing the big smiles underneath the paint. Watching their imaginations come to life made for such a special day! ❤️
