🎶 Calling all young musicians! 🎶

Barton Community Music School is excited to offer a new Youth Band Group Experience this fall!

Students in grades 6–9 can build their skills, play exciting music, make new friends, and experience the joy of making music together in a supportive band setting. Open to all band instruments!

📅 Tuesdays | 6–7 p.m.
🎵 Classes begin the first week of September
⭐ Includes a performance opportunity in December
💲 Only $105 for the fall semester!

We are a little less than an hour away from the start of Band Camp! Please have students enter through the WEST doors (those next to the music room). We can't wait for an awesome week! Please email Ms. Bowers at [email protected] with any questions.

It may only be the first full week of July, but August will be here before we know it! Attached in the schedule for Band Camp this year! Like in years past this will be held at Hoisington High School in the music room/on the football field. NEW THIS YEAR: To help give our incoming 7th graders a head start, we will be hosting a 7th grade only day at the beginning of the week to go over marching fundamentals and the fight song. Please make sure your child is wearing appropriate clothing as it will be hot and send them with a water bottle! If you have any questions please email Ms. Bowers at [email protected].

We want to wish all of our students a very wonderful summer break! 5th Grade parents don't forget that Ms. Bowers is hosting Summer Lessons for the month of June. You can contact her on Dojo or via email if you have any questions. Stay safe, be kind, and have a wonderful break! We'll see you all in August. (Band Camp dates will be posted at a later time so keep an eye out!)

Important information! As it says, students going into 6th grade can do BOTH Band and Vocal! Choose whichever for your music credit and write the other at the TOP of your electives list!

On Saturday Karissa Benavidez traveled to Southeast of Sailne for State Solo and Ensemble. She received a 1 rating for both of her solos! Congratulations Karissa!
