🔥 JAGUARS… THIS ONE IS YOURS. 🔥
Got a story?
Got a camera? 📸
Make music? 🎵
Draw, paint, or create? 🎨
Write? ✍️
Dance? 🩰
Make videos? 🎬
Then we want to see what YOU can create.
🎭 PTA REFLECTIONS IS OPEN!
This year’s theme is:
“WHAT MY CULTURE MEANS TO ME”
And before you say, “I’m not an artist…” 👀
You don’t have to be.
You just have to have an idea.
Culture can be your:
🍕 Food
🎶 Music
👨👩👧👦 Family
🌎 Heritage
🗣️ Language
🎉 Traditions
🏆 Team or community
📍 Place you call home
❤️ People who have shaped you
✨ Or something completely unexpected.
Your culture doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
Neither does your art.
YOU CAN ENTER:
📖 LITERATURE — poetry, stories, essays
🎨 VISUAL ARTS — drawing, painting, collage, sculpture
📸 PHOTOGRAPHY — one photo or a photocomposition
🎵 MUSIC COMPOSITION — original music or songs
🎬 FILM PRODUCTION — short films, animation, documentaries
🩰 DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY — solo or group routines
🏆 AND YES… THERE ARE AWARDS!
Your work can be recognized at the school level and may have the opportunity to advance through PTA Reflections for state and national recognition.
Nationally, more than 200 student artists are recognized each year, with national awards including medals, certificates, virtual exhibition opportunities and scholarships up to $800. 👀🔥
So… what would YOUR culture look like, sound like, or feel like?
