HUGE thanks to the teachers and staff at St. Hubert School! I am inspired by the way they have pulled together under the leadership of a new principal, Mrs. Julie Martin, and risen to this unprecedented challenge. We are so grateful Maddie was able to start her 8th grade year in the classroom with her school family.
Even though they were wearing masks this morning, the smiles of all the faculty and staff shone through. It was like being welcomed home after a long journey.

We can't wait to see you tomorrow for Supply Drop off and Meet the Teacher! This is a great opportunity for parents and students to prepare for the upcoming school year and get acquainted their teacher

We realize that this is the day following the services for Fr. Mike and we know that there will be many emotions. We will have 3 counselors available on site to meet with anyone who might need it. In addition, we will have an area in the front lobby where children can create a memory square for Fr. Mike that will be displayed on a large banner and given to his family. Being able to draw or write a memory can be a very healing process for our children.

Wednesday, August 16 2-7:30 PM, at which time there will be a prayer service.

Thursday, August 17 8-10 AM

Please note that the church doors will not be open until 2 PM on Wednesday and 8 AM on Thursday to allow for preparation of the visitation.

FUNERAL MASS: Thursday, August 17 at 10 AM

The funeral will be live-streamed at Saint Matthews Church. Communion will be distributed during the service at Saint Matthews. Since there will be limited seating at Saint Hubert Church, due to fire code capacity, we encourage you to consider attending Saint Matthews Church.

If you are unable to attend in person, the Mass will be live-streamed, go to https://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/91368. - The funeral will be available to view for 60 days.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our Pastor, Father Michael Scherschel. He died peacefully in his sleep this morning. As soon as we know the arrangements, they will be posted on the website and sent via Flocknotes.

Please keep Father Mike’s family and our entire Parish in your prayers as we mourn the loss of this beautiful soul. He will be greatly missed.

Our musical summer camp concluded with a performance of Moana, under the direction of our fine arts teacher, Nicole Cooper. Excitement and energy filled the stage as our students brought the characters and story of Moana to life. It was a wonderful opportunity for our young performers to showcase their talents and create lasting memories.
