Today, on our last full day of school, we were blessed to welcome Officer Bending and Oakley back to St. Hubert School.

When the closure of our school was announced, they were there to offer comfort, support, and a calming presence during a difficult time for our students. Their kindness and dedication have meant so much to our school community throughout this journey.

Thank you, Hoffman Estates Police Department Officer Bending and Oakley, for caring for our students and helping them navigate this transition with strength and confidence. Your support will never be forgotten, and we are forever grateful. 💛🖤

As St. Hubert School prepares to close its doors, we wanted to preserve the memories, traditions, and spirit that made this community so special for generations. ✨

Yesterday, we buried a time capsule filled with handwritten memories and messages from alumni, staff, teachers, and students — a collection of moments that tell the story of St. Hubert through the people who lived it every day.

A special thank you to Jennifer Fong Govea, Class of 2000, and her husband Steve for creating the beautiful handmade box and burying it outside the preschool wing.

While our school building may close, the impact of St. Hubert School and the memories created here will continue to live on. 💛🖤

Today we gathered together for our final school Mass, celebrating our faith one last time as a school family. It was a bittersweet moment filled with prayer, reflection, gratitude, and love. As we sat together in God’s presence, we were reminded that the heart of our school was always our faith and the community we built through it.

Through every Mass, prayer service, and moment of worship over the years, God has guided our school and strengthened the bonds between us. While our school may be closing, the faith we shared within these walls will continue to live on in each of us.

As Father Oswald always tells us, God is good all the time. And all the time, God is good. 🙏

Some highlights from our Spring Concert last night. ✨

Last night, St. Hubert School held its final Spring Concert, and it was a night we will never forget. 🎶✨

With a Disney-themed program, our students filled the room with music, joy, and heart. Some of the evening’s highlights included Be Our Guest, Gaston, You’ve Got a Friend in Me, and beautiful solos by our talented students Erin Govea and Lily Flowers.

The night concluded with the entire student body singing Go the Distance from Hercules — a powerful and symbolic ending as St. Hubert prepares to close its doors.

While this chapter is coming to an end, our students will continue to go the distance, carrying with them the perseverance, self-discovery, faith, and determination that St. Hubert has instilled in them for generations.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Zeigler and Mrs. Cathy for their dedication to our music program and for putting together one final, unforgettable performance for our school community. 💛🖤

What a wonderful night celebrating the talent of our St. Hubert musicians at the Spring Band Concert! 🎶

Our junior and senior bands sounded amazing, and it was so special seeing our 3rd graders take the stage with their flutaphones for their featured performance. The crowd also loved the 8th grade’s performance of “Seven Nation Army” — what a fun way to showcase their hard work and talent! 🎺🥁

A huge thank you to Mrs. Sohn for her dedication, passion, and commitment to the St. Hubert band program throughout the years. Your impact on our students and school community is truly appreciated, and last night was a beautiful reflection of all the time and care you pour into these young musicians. 👏🎵
