Big congratulations to Carlos Rojas Guiterrez, Class of 2025!
Carlos was just awarded a scholarship through his employer Chick-fil-A. Carlos demonstrated outstanding
leadership, character, and work ethic which earned him a $25,000 Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures
Scholarship.
This national scholarship recognizes students who go above and beyond in their workplace, school, and
community. We are incredibly proud to see a member of our Class of 2025 recognized in such a powerful
way.

Congratulations Mr. Ligman!!!

David Ligman, an applied technology teacher and department chair at Hoffman Estates High School in Township High School District 211, has dedicated the last 24 years to helping students discover their passions and access a comprehensive, skills‑focused education. His commitment to expanding opportunities for students led him to establish a dual credit agreement that has enabled hundreds of learners to earn college credit while still in high school.

Beyond the classroom, Mr. Ligman has built a robust network of more than 41 local employers who regularly hire students from the program. He also partners with the Rotary Club to provide professional‑grade tools to students entering careers in skilled trades.
