Larue County Middle School Beta Club

I wanted to take a moment to recognize my Beta kids. This week Sun-Tues, LaRue County Middle School attended the State Beta Convention in Lexington. We took 75 kids and represented very well.

The following students have an opportunity to advance to National Beta Convention in June in Nashville TN.

6th grade US History - 4th place - Reed Mills

7th grade health and physical education - 1st place - Kaylee Vance
8th grade -health and physical education - 1st place- Lydia Carl

Join our club in contributing to the KY Statewide Service Project. Next week, our Beta's will be decorating and assembling hospital bags. Our club will be collecting Junior Donation Items so if you feel led to help us fill them, send in any items by Friday, February 27th.

During the month of November, our Betas focused on military service and the impact those individuals make in our communities. Our monthly Beta meeting included making cards for our local veterans. During our Veterans Day program, our students greeted our guests, distributed their cards, and participated in the program by recognizing our veterans in attendance.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to give back to the heroes who have given us so much. 💙❤️

Beta isn’t just a club—it is a commitment to serving our school and our community!

Our Beta Hoodie Drive was a huge success! I’m so proud of our Beta’s and their desire to serve others in our community.

Our Betas are preparing for convention and we need your help!
The Living Literature and Engineering Competitions are bigger groups that require alot of creativity, teamwork, and unfortunately a lot of stuff. From supplies and props to materials for building and design, the costs add up quickly. If you’d like to support our students, we would be so grateful for any donation, big or small💛. We’ve put together an Amazon list to make things easier, but we know prices can sometimes run high-so please feel free to shop around and purchase items elsewhere if that works better for you.
