The HB Warrior Family couldn’t be prouder. Ms. King works tirelessly as a teacher, coach, motivator, life cheerleader, mentor, colleague, and friend. She has the unique position as a Physical Education instructor to impact every student and our whole building culture. She makes our school a better place and we couldn’t be prouder of this award, which recognizes her for all the things we see her do every day.

The hardest part of middle school? Figuring out to how unlock your locker! Don't worry 6th Graders - we will spend a lot of time learning how to use a padlock the first day. Watch a short clip of how to do this by scanning the code below.

🔒 Some tips from the experts:🔒
1) Make sure your hands are empty so you can concentrate on unlocking your locker.
2) Go SLOW and take your time.
3) When turning the combination, just use your fingers to turn the lock, not your whole wrist and arm.
4) When opening the locker, pull the latch up and not out. You may need two hands.

We have had some questions around our 6th Grade Supply List and what type of binder(s) are needed. What you see below is correct and up to date.

Due to multiple reasons including: many teachers have the kids leave papers in folders within the classroom, and students have more electronic assignments than when the 2-inch binder was used as an organizational tool schoolwide, the binders have became obsolete. This year, we decided to move away from them.

Science did want a 1-inch binder that stays in the classroom, which was new from the past. We felt this would work well with the Science curriculum/class structure.
