☀️💙 💚Summer Spotlight: Mrs. Whittaker! 💙💚☀️
Our 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Whittaker, and her family had a wonderful summer filled with family, travel, and lots of special memories! ❤️
The Whittakers enjoyed plenty of grandchildren time 👶💕 and adventures that took them from Alabama to Savannah, Georgia, Boston, and New York! 🗺️✈️
What a fun-filled summer exploring new places and, most importantly, spending time with family! ☀️💙 💚We hope Mrs. Whittaker is enjoying every last moment before returning to North Star! ⭐📚

☀️🏔️ Summer Spotlight: Mrs. Borden! 🏔️☀️
Our 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Borden, and her family spent the summer searching for the best views, trails, and waterfalls! 🌿💦 Their adventures took them from Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, to Ithaca, New York, all the way to Jackson Hole, Wyoming!
While every stop was breathtaking, Wyoming stole their hearts with unforgettable adventures in Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons! 🏔️🦬🌲
They wrapped up the summer with music concerts and fun day trips, making even more special memories along the way. 🎶❤️
What an amazing summer of exploring, adventure, and family time! We can’t wait to hear about everyone else’s summer adventures! ☀️💙💚

☀️❤️ Summer Spotlight: Mrs. Herbst! ❤️☀️
Our paraprofessional, Mrs. Herbst, has had a summer filled with family, fun, and making memories! 🥰
The family celebrated the 4th of July surrounded by loved ones in the beautiful Tennessee mountains ⛰️🇺🇸 and enjoyed more family time with trips to Georgia and Florida. They also made a special memory by taking the kids to their first-ever concert! 🎶🎤
And there’s even more excitement ahead! The Herbst family made a big purchase and got a seasonal camper at the beach! 🏖️🚐 We’re sure there will be plenty of new adventures and memories to come!
What a wonderful summer! 💙☀️

☀️🍁 Summer Spotlight: Mrs. Kutsch! 🍁☀️
The Kutsch family had an incredible summer adventure in Canada! 🇨🇦 They spent four days exploring Niagara Falls, where they went behind the falls, took a boat ride right up to the falls, hiked, and even spotted some turtles—Mrs. Kutsch’s favorite! 🐢❤️
The family then headed to Toronto, where they visited the Hockey Hall of Fame 🏒, explored a castle 🏰, and took in the amazing views from the CN Tower, Toronto’s tallest tower! 🌆
What a fun-filled week of exploring, adventure, and making family memories! 💙💚

☀️💙 Summer Spotlight: Mrs. Freebery! 💙☀️
Our PE teacher, Mrs. Freebery, has been making the most of her busy summer! She’s spent lots of quality time with her parents in Bethany Beach, enjoying precious family time and making memories together. 🌊☀️
She’s also been soaking up time with her husband, Bruce, and their two daughters, Marie and Kelly. From backyard pool days with family and their furry babies 🐶🐾 to nighttime bike rides on the golf course, beautiful sunsets, reading on the beach, boardwalk rides, and even pet-sitting for her brother, there have been plenty of special summer moments! ❤️
One especially proud family moment came last week when her oldest daughter, Marie, received her Medical School White Coat at the White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2030 at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM)! 🥼🎓 The whole family couldn’t be prouder! 👏❤️
Mrs. Freebery is looking forward to seeing all of her North Star students soon—but until then, you’ll probably find her on the beach in Bethany or poolside! 🏖️💦☀️

☀️🦒 Summer Spotlight: Mrs. Rivera! 🦒☀️
The Riveras are keeping busy and making the most of summer! 💙 From swimming at the pool 🏊‍♂️ and enjoying ice hockey 🏒 to growing veggies 🥗, adding new plants 🌱, watching baby birds grow ❤️, and enjoying fireworks 🎆, there have been plenty of fun adventures!
One special adventure was a visit to Plumpton Park Zoo, where Mrs. Rivera and Mrs. Mauloni, had a blast feeding an adorable sheep! 🐑❤️ They loved him so much, they really wanted to bring him home! 😍
And if that wasn’t enough, they even got to feed giraffes! 🦒 What a fun-filled summer for the Rivera family! ☀️💙

☀️🌎 Summer Spotlight: Mrs. Clark! 🌎☀️
Our 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Clark, has been making the most of every moment of summer! 💙 Her highlight was traveling to Lisbon and Lagos, Portugal, with family. 🇵🇹 They swam in the Atlantic Ocean, watched a FIFA World Cup game, and enjoyed morning hikes to discover beautiful views. 🌊🥾
Back at home, Mrs. Clark gave goat yoga a try—which was fun, but definitely not very relaxing! 🐐🧘‍♀️😂 She’s also been enjoying leisurely morning walks and taking in plenty of beautiful nature along the way. 🌿☀️
Here’s to soaking up every last restful moment of summer! 💛📚 We can’t wait to welcome Mrs. Clark back to North Star! ⭐💙💚

☀️📚 Summer Spotlight: Mrs. Cooper! 📚☀️
Our kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Cooper, has been making the most of her summer with plenty of fun adventures! 🌊🐚 From enjoying time in Cape Cod and Lewes to celebrating with a delicious crab feast, her summer has been full of great memories! 🦀💙
One of the highlights was visiting the coolest library in Provincetown—with a literal boat inside! ⛵📖 What a perfect summer stop for one of our favorite kindergarten teachers! 😊
We love seeing how our North Star staff spend their summers exploring, relaxing, and making memories! ⭐☀️

☀️📚 Summer Spotlight: Mrs. Forester! 📚☀️
Our kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Forester, has had a summer filled with friends, family, travel, and lots of special memories! ❤️
One of her favorite parts of summer has been spending plenty of quality time with her soon-to-be high-schooler 😭😳—and, of course, Henry has been the very best napping coach! 🐶💕
The family also enjoyed adventures in New York City, Boston, and Newport, Rhode Island, with a special stop at the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art along the way! 🐛📖 What a perfect summer stop for one of our kindergarten teachers!
We hope Mrs. Forester is soaking up every last moment of summer before she heads back to North Star! ☀️💙💚

Summer Spotlight: Mrs. Morris! ☀️🎨
Our talented art teacher, Mrs. Morris, had an amazing summer adventure in the Thousand Islands, where she participated in a Plein Air Competition! 🖌️🌿 She spent three days painting outdoors, capturing the beauty of the area—and we’re excited to share that she earned 2nd place! 🏆🎨
What an incredible accomplishment! We’re so proud to have such a talented and creative artist inspiring our North Star students. 💙⭐ Congratulations, Mrs. Morris! 👏🎉
