🐢🦎🐹 Coastal Wilds Came to Visit! 🐹🦎🐢
We had an amazing visit from Coastal Wilds today! Our NSE Bears learned SO much about some fascinating animals, including a millipede, chinchilla, guinea pig, blue-tongued skink, and tortoise! 🐾
Our students asked SO many wonderful questions and were curious from start to finish! 🌟
Here are a few things we learned:
🥬 What is an omnivore? An animal that eats both plants AND meat!
🛁 Do chinchillas like baths? Yes—but not water baths! Chinchillas take dust baths to keep themselves clean.
🤔 Challenge your child: Ask them what a chinchilla’s defense mechanism is when it is attacked! 👀
We love when learning comes alive—especially when it comes with furry, scaly, and many-legged friends! ❤️📚🐾
