Towle Institute Towle Institute is a non-traditional school for those families seeking to educate their children in their home environment.

We are a private school, incorporated in Delaware, serving home-educated students from Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. We offer a full-course curriculum for grades six through twelve and provide oversight for siblings of families living in Delaware for kindergarten through fifth grade. Towle offers a full range of academic activities supporting the student’s educational experience. Because home schooling is an individual experience, independent study for credit may be arranged.

Towle Institute is proud to offer Standardized testing (CAT TerraNova 3rd ed.) on Monday and Tuesday, June 1st and 2nd, at Wilmington Community Evangelical Church, 1512 Brackenville Road, Hockessin, DE 19707.

We are offering testing for 4th through 8th grades at a cost of $40 per student. In order to ensure enough tests and adequate space, you will need to enroll your child/children by May 11, 2026.

Please complete the registration form and return it to the school office. Enclose payment to Towle Institute for each child testing in grades 4 – 8. If your form and payment are not received by this date, we cannot guarantee an available test for your child. There will be no registration at the door on the day of testing. Once registered, you will receive follow-up information/directions closer to the testing dates.
