The IB Unit, How We Organize Ourselves, invites our First Graders to think about the systems and guidelines that help sustain our daily school life. 🏫🔍

As our students observed their familar classroom, hallways, and offices through a new systems-thinking lens, they began to recognize how everyday details, from the labels in the library to the first-aid guidelines in every room, serve a purpose and help keep our school experience running safely and smoothly.

Along the way, this activity also encouraged our students to care for shared spaces as responsible members of our school community!

A new school year begins, and some of our learners who first joined us in PK2 are now stepping into First Grade!

Childhood amnesia, a common psychological phenomenon, reminds us that many memories from our earliest years can be difficult to recall. Yet old photos, outgrown uniforms, and past Tessa yearbooks quickly brought back moments that helped shape our confident and happy bilingual learners today.

It is in moments like these that we feel the weight and meaning of being part of a child’s blossoming years, alongside our supportive families who continuously trust us to share in them. Thank you for being part of Tessa. With every new year, our shared story continues to grow!
