As part of our Wild Wonders Week, we welcomed some special animal friends to our summer camp today! 🐾💚

All of our young explorers from Nursery through Elementary enjoyed a hands-on, multi-sensory experience where they observed and learned about reptiles, amphibians, and mammals up close, inspiring curiosity and a deeper appreciation for the amazing creatures we share our planet with.

Special thanks to Rizzo’s Wildlife World for bringing such a lively and memorable experience to our campers!

This week at our Summer Camp was packed with imagination, innovation, and collaborative problem-solving, balanced with endless outdoor fun!

From Nursery through Elementary, our campers enjoyed:

🛠️ Hands-on engineering challenges, from arcade game design to space launch system
🚀 Movable LEGO rocket ship creations with our special guest Bricks 4 Kidz Hoboken
🌳 A field trip to Pier C Park with unstructured play, fresh morning air, and beautiful Hudson skyline views
💦 Weekly outdoor exploration and refreshing water play
🌍 Sharing creative ideas in French, Mandarin, or Spanish
🤝 Fun group games, teamwork, and new friendships

By the end of the week, our campers didn’t just build projects. They built confidence, curiosity, and a deeper belief in what they can achieve. 💡

Each week, weather permitting, our campers enjoy safe, age-appropriate water play designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and support their growing minds and bodies—all while creating joyful memories and building lasting friendships!

✨ Camp Week 4 = It’s Time to Shine! ✨

Our Creative & Performance Week gave every camper the opportunity to discover their creative spark. Through music, dance, theater, art, movement games, and performance challenges, our children explored new ways to express themselves.

🎭 A special highlight of the week was the Acting Workshops led by our special guest, Story Builders ! While the younger Nursery and Preschool performers brought stories to life through imaginative role-play and creative movement, Elementary storytellers sharpened their improvisation and stage presence through collaborative drama challenges.

Whether taking center stage or cheering on their friends from the audience, our campers showed that every great performance begins with the courage to step ourside their comfort zones.

Meet Ms. Maria, one of our Spanish teachers during the school year and a teacher at Tessa Summer Camp!

Originally from Chile, Maria brings extensive teaching experience from a variety of educational settings. Her adaptable approach, passion for lifelong learning, and dedication to helping every child thrive make her a valued member of our community. Whether in the classroom or at camp, Maria creates engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and confidence.

We had SO much fun today!! ⚽☀️ A huge thank you to the amazing Breakout Sports NJ team for bringing the soccer fever to our campers. From our tiny discoverers to our older explorers, they're all ready for the World Cup!

Our campers, from our youngest Nursery students to our oldest explorers, had an amazing week learning, creating, and making new friends through our immersive French, Spanish, and Mandarin language programs.

The week was packed with engaging, age-appropriate activities, including hands-on STEM and Art classes, a library field trip, a special Baking Day, creative crafts, and a refreshing Water Day to beat the summer heat! Our Red, White & Blue theme helped campers celebrate the week leading up to the 4th of July with festive projects and activities.

Wishing all of our families a happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸 Thank you for an amazing first week, we can't wait to welcome everyone back for more summer fun.

Happy Last Day of School Year 2025-26! 🎉

Today, we celebrated our KG and Primary graduates who have each surprised us, inspired us, and made us proud along the way, as well as the meaningful milestones of every grade level moving up.

Congratulations to all of our students, teachers, staff, and families on a remarkable school year. Wishing everyone a safe and fulfilling summer ahead! ☀

Some of our preschoolers marked their Moving Up Ceremony today, celebrating a blossoming year of learning, growth, and happiness. Their bright smiles reminded us once again that every ending opens the door to more exciting possibilities. 🎉
