Meet Ms. Amina, one of our French teachers!

Amina brings over 10 years of experience supporting learners across a range of ages and educational settings. Since joining Tessa in 2019, she has continued to build trusting relationships with every student. In her classroom, learning is grounded in genuine understanding and meaningful connection. As part of their IB Unit Sharing the Planet, our PK4 students visited Van Vleck House & Gardens for a morning of discovery. 🌿

Through nature walks and hands-on workshops, learners observed plants and the wider natural world up close, deepening both understanding and care for the environment around us.

Through hands-on exploration, students analyzed and reflected firsthand on the human-nature relationships, applying STEM knowledge in real-world contexts while deepening their understanding of environmental stewardship through meaningful action.

Through these small, instinctive acts of play, our PK2 toddlers became natural explorers of light, texture, and color at the overhead projector.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, this open-ended, sensory-rich experience honored our youngest learners' innate curiosity while laying meaningful early foundations in science and art.

In partnership with the City of Hoboken, our fundraising will directly benefit a crucial project right in our neighborhood: the future Resiliency Park located directly across from our campus on 800 Monroe St, offering green space where our children can run, play, and explore, and essential community assets that will serve all of Hoboken.
