About “Miss Ale”
Well known in and around Hoboken as "Ms Ale", Alejandra Sapirstein is dedicated to fostering creativity and happiness in children through her innovative Spanish bilingual immersion program, Pinta & Play®. Her warm spirit and enthusiasm have made her a beloved figure among families, enriching the lives of countless children. Originally from La Serena, Chile, Alejandra is an accomplished dance teacher, choreographer, and professional dancer. Since 2007, she has shared her creativity and passion for movement in Hoboken, Jersey City, and Manhattan, teaching students from 15 months to 14 years old. Her diverse background includes studies in variety of countries, including The United States, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, France, as well as her native Chile. As a key member of the Fine Arts staff at HoLa Hoboken Dual Language Charter School, Alejandra has nurtured artistic talent through numerous successful performances. In 2017, she launched Pinta & Play™ for toddlers and caregivers, followed by Pinta & Play® for preschoolers. These unique programs blend art, Latin music, literature, culture, and storytelling shows to cultivate creativity while teaching Spanish in a fun, organic manner.The language component of Pinta & Play® is vital for families eager to introduce their little ones to Spanish as a second language and for those who already speak Spanish, allowing children to develop their skills naturally in a caring and authentic environment.
