Hoboken High School Hispanic Culture Club The Hispanic Culture Club promotes Hispanic Culture and Spanish language among the students at Hoboken High School.

In the Hoboken HS Hispanic Culture Club students can celebrate Hispanic/Latin culture through:

Dance
Music
Culinary Experiences
Movies/Documentaries
Discussion
Educational Field Experience
Community Service
The Hispanic Culture Club promotes Spanish culture and language among the students at Hoboken High School. The club is a vehicle to enhance the multicultural curriculum and to broaden the students’ perspective of their fellow Hispanic students in the school and of the Spanish language in the classroom. The students engage in fund raising activities for charities, celebrate Hispanic holidays, and visit restaurants and museums. The Hispanic Culture Club is open to all students with an interest in Spanish culture and language.

From September 15 through October 15, we recognize and celebrate the rich histories, cultures, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans who have helped shape our communities and our nation.

Throughout this month, we look forward to celebrating the voices, stories, achievements, and traditions that enrich our schools and strengthen our Hoboken community.

Today, the Hoboken Public School District joins our community and our nation in solemn remembrance of the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives and recognize the extraordinary courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday citizens who answered tragedy with bravery, compassion, and selflessness.

For our Hoboken community, the events of September 11 hold a particularly profound place in our collective memory. As we look across the Hudson River toward New York City, we remember, we reflect, and we honor all those whose lives were forever changed.

May we continue to teach future generations the importance of remembrance, unity, kindness, service, and hope.

Members of Hoboken High School’s Hispanic Culture Club, Spanish National Honor Society, Student Government, and National Honor Society joined the City of Hoboken at Columbus Park to raise the Dominican flag 🇩🇴 in celebration of the 182nd anniversary of the independence of the Dominican Republic.

We are especially proud that our very own Martin Peralta was honored during this meaningful and patriotic ceremony.
