Yesterday would have been the late John Bonham’s 78th birthday and we continue to celebrate his legacy! “D’yer Maker” is one of our favorites and is a staple in our lesson curriculum! Bonzo infamously hated this song as he wasn’t a fan of reggae, but his “lack” of passion lead to a drum performance that is now legendary, and one that we love to teach!

Our school is buzzing right now as our students and teachers work hard to prepare for our upcoming recitals on June 6 and 7. That’s right, kids, 6 -7 ! You can expect to see great performances by our students of songs by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Beastie Boys, Florence and the Machine, K-Pop Demon Hunters, and many more!

House Gear Appreciation Post!

We take great pride at The Drum Den in providing our students with top quality instruments on which to learn music, and this awesome ‘90s Slingerland kit is no exception! Like the rest of our fleet, these black pearl beauties are kept in tune for each class so that our newer players can build a strong foundation for getting a good sound out of the instrument! They are also sized to accommodate even our youngest drummers!
