PRESS RELEASE

Date : 16th June, 2026.

The Department of Community Health today held a strategic meeting presided over by the HOD Mal. Zayyanu Bello, aimed at strengthening academic activities, departmental coordination, and studentsโ€™ welfare.

The meeting brought together members of staff and key stakeholders to discuss important issues relating to the progress and development of the department.

Deliberations focused on improving academic standards, effective service delivery, discipline, teamwork, and creating a conducive learning environment for students.

In his remarks, the Head of Department, Mal. Zayyanu Bello, emphasized the importance of unity, commitment, and collective responsibility among staff members in achieving the goals of the department. He also encouraged continuous collaboration and dedication towards the advancement of Community Health professional and training.

The meeting ended with resolutions geared towards enhancing productivity, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring the continued growth of the department and the college at large.

YEAR ONE COMMUNITY HEALTH STUDENTS DONATE LECTURE STAND TO HOD

In a commendable display of support and commitment to academic development, the Year One Community Health Students today donated a lecture stand to the Head of Department, Malam Zayyanu Bello.

The presentation was made in the presence of the Director of Media and Publicity of the College, alongside with the students who witnessed the gesture.

The class rep. stated that the donation was aimed at contributing to a more conducive teaching and learning environment within the department, while also appreciating the leadership and dedication of the Head of Department towards the growth of Community Health studies in the College.

Receiving the lecture stand, Malam Zayyanu Bello expressed his gratitude to the students for the thoughtful initiative, describing it as a symbol of unity, cooperation, and collective responsibility towards the progress of the department.

He further encouraged students to continue embracing positive attitudes that promote academic excellence, mutual respect, and institutional development.

The Director, thanks the students on behalf of the management also commended the students for the kind gesture and spirit of contribution towards educational advancement.

PUBLIC NOTICE

This is to inform all staff, students, and members of the college community that the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Friday, 12th June 2026, a Public Holiday in commemoration of Democracy Day.

All academic and administrative activities of the College shall be suspended on Friday, 12th June 2026. Normal college activities will resume on the next official working day.

The Management wishes all staff and students a peaceful and happy Democracy Day celebration.

PRESS STATEMENT...

COLLEGE MANAGER REAFFIRMS COMMITMENTS TO STAFF WELFARE AND STUDENT DEVELOPMENT.

Day : 4th June, 2026.

The College Manager, Engr. Usman Lawal Lala, today convened a strategic meeting with the entire Management team in the presence of the Ag. Executive Director, Mal. Ibrahim Lala, where important issues concerning the development, administration, and overall progress of the college were thoroughly discussed.

Following the meeting, the College Manager embarked on an inspection tour across the college to assess the condition of facilities and learning environments.

During the visit, he made key observations and highlighted the need for additional equipment and improved infrastructure to enhance a more conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning, benefiting both students and the wider community.

In his remarks, the Ag. Executive Director emphasized the importance of student discipline and regular attendance, stressing that discipline remains a vital pillar for academic excellence and institutional growth. He encouraged both staff and students to uphold the values of commitment, responsibility, and punctuality in order to strengthen the college system.

The College Manager also expressed appreciation to the entire management for their dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment toward the advancement of the institution. He further reassured staff of his continuous support, particularly regarding the welfare of committed and hardworking personnel who remain dedicated to service and the growth of the students and college at large.

The meeting and inspection visit reflect the leadershipโ€™s determination to improve standards, strengthen institutional development, and create a better learning environment for all.
