Congratulations to our Varsity Raider Football Team on tonight’s 14–0 WIN over NECP! We are proud of our players and coaches for their hard work and another great night of Raider football!
We also want to extend a sincere THANK YOU to our Raider fans for your patience, cooperation, and willingness to follow instructions at the conclusion of tonight’s game. Your support and cooperation were greatly appreciated by our administration and staff.
At Hobgood Charter School, athletics are about much more than the final score. Sportsmanship, character, and integrity are core values of our school and athletic program. Our student-athletes are always watching the adults around them—coaches, staff, parents, and fans—and learning from the example we set.
We are especially appreciative of the manner in which our coaching staff and Raider fans represented HCS tonight. Maintaining composure, demonstrating good sportsmanship, and doing what is right—even when emotions are high—are lessons that extend far beyond the field.
We look forward to our athletic events and want them to remain opportunities for our athletes to compete, grow, and SHINE while representing Hobgood Charter School with pride.
