What creative homemaking experiences are you presenting to your girls whether you are the teacher or you are the connector?
I'm thrilled my girls are taking up CROCHETING although I'm not the teacher! 😅
I'm happy they love to SHOP CLEARANCES & THRIFTY and DECORATE. 🤑
I love that they get the PAINTS & CRAFT supplies out and yes leave occasional marks on my farmhouse table so they learn to CLEAN that too! ☺️🧼
I'm glad they are learning the freeing feeling of DECLUTTERING if they bring one thing in the home, two things must go out!
I also love how they have discovered the timeless art of slowing down to sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee ☕️ in a real china tea cup while doodling with watercolors or markers to create heART in journalling or other creative ventures... But let me just say.... I AM NO WHERE NEAR PERFECT as a mom but I get many women asking me how I do this or that with my daughters... and online stuff... So I have prayed about this a long time and feel like God wants to use this beyond my imagination!
So here we go!!!! We will be CONNECTING my 2 memberships (Homemakers club + 3G Club)!
The 2 separate groups I was experimenting with over the last couple years, were fun but didn't allow me much FOCUS.
So for now we will be honing in on this ONE for now: "The Young Creative Homemakers Club" ~ Where women like in Titus 2:3-5 together pour into girls to be keepers of the home ~ making Proverbs 31 a girl's goal. Not aiming for personal perfection but aiming to be perfect in relationship with God while growing in the gifts He gives us for service to our families & communities.
I'm excited about continuing to be INTENTIONAL, to help my girls and other women & girls who join us, to discover God's creative gifts and talents He has given them for various creativity. Not only so they can be good keepers of the home and make a godly young man a fabulous wife one day, but also show them a way to save money to create a stream of income beyond a hobby or lemonade stand. (although it starts there 🍋 😊)
✨Please sprinkle this ✨ or Tag a woman that wants this for her girls, granddaughters or girls groups too!! I believe we have a lot we can share and if you have an expertise for the home, let's spotlight it so other women & girls can learn from you.
