Jumpstart – Incoming 6th Grade Students

Jumpstart is scheduled on Friday, July 26 from 9 am to 12 pm at each school. This will be for 6th grade students attending Heizer, Highland and Houston Middle School for the school year 2024-2025. Students will take part in an orientation of our school as well as receive a copy of their class schedule and their I.D. Your child will need to bring $4 for lunch in the snack bar. We hope to make this a fun and easy transition for your child. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the school office at 575-433-1300.

There has been conflicting posts on community media pages, so we wanted to be clear that HMS online enrollment and returning student verification process/registration starts July 15 at 8 AM. This is the day that all school secretaries will return to campuses for the year to begin this process. Please visit www.hobbsschools.net>parents>how and when to register for all pertinent info.
EVERY STUDENT MUST COMPLETE Returning Student Verification Process for 2024-2025 School Year.

We are excited to announce that the Western Heritage Museum is hosting two sessions of summer camp this June! June 10-11 (5-7 year olds) and June 17-18 (8-12 year olds). Each camp is held from 9 am - 12 pm each day. Camp is FREE and open to the public, but hurry, there are limited spaces, and camp spots are first come, first served!
