Hey Graduates, your diplomas are here!

You can pick them up in the main office here at Hobbs High School, Monday-Thursday from 9am-11am and 1pm-3pm.

There will be a short senior exit survey that will need to be completed before picking up the diploma, QR code for that survey is located in the main office.

Prom is officially around the corner! April 12th from 8pm-midnight! This year’s theme is “A Night on the Red Carpet”, bringing Hollywood to Hobbs and we have some cool things happening! This year we will selling a limited amount of V.I.P. tickets for $60 and this is what’s included:

-prom ticket
-a meal from a food truck that will be at prom
-RESERVED seat at a VIP table in the VIP area(no missing out on finding a place to set your things and have your own seat)
-VIP Swag Bag with goodies!
*If you and your date buy VIP tickets together, you get $20 off total price! 2 VIP tickets for $100!

A couple of things to note:

-Final eligibility list will go out Friday, March 28th.
-Ticket sales will begin Monday, March 31st in the bookkeeping office, the cost is $25. It will be $30 at the door on the day of prom
- Food trucks will be available to purchase food from 8-10pm
-DJ, photo 360, and so much more!!!

For the month of February we had a tie for “Staff member of the month”. The title will be shared between the amazing Mrs. Rains who teaches foreign language elective courses and the awesome Coach Joel Baker who teaches social studies! This unique recognition is voted by students only through their Google classroom and is done every month. Congrats to Mrs. Rains and Coach Baker for being the Staff Member of the Month for February.

Today’s weather and road conditions are cold and dry. HMS will have normal start for today for classes. Be sure to wear those coats and mittens today to stay warm as you travel.

Today was a GREAT day to be an Eagle! Our canned food drive ended today and what an awesome turnout! We are PROUD to announce that we were able to collect and donate 6,713 cans and water items to our local soup kitchen, Isaiah’s Kitchen! What a great time for HHS to give back to a community who pours so much into our students!

This canned food drive will be able to help support the restock of items for Isaiah’s Kitchen as they prepare to give out more holiday boxes for those families in need.

Thank you to all of those who donated, what a blessing it will be to our community! GO EAGLES!
