The heart of the Lea County Fair & Rodeo isn’t just found in the ribbons or banners; it’s found in the dedication, perseverance, and passion of our incredible FFA and 4-H exhibitors.
Behind every animal is a student who has spent months waking up before sunrise, feeding, exercising, cleaning pens, practicing showmanship, and sacrificing weekends and free time. These projects teach far more than livestock; they build responsibility, work ethic, leadership, problem-solving skills, and character that will last a lifetime.
To every FFA and 4-H member: We see your hard work. We admire your commitment. We are proud of the passion you pour into your projects every single day. No matter where you place in the ring, the lessons you’ve learned and the effort you’ve invested are something to be incredibly proud of.
We invite our entire community to come out and support these outstanding young people at the Lea County Fair & Rodeo Livestock Shows, August 1–8. Fill the stands, cheer on our exhibitors, and witness firsthand the future of agriculture and the next generation of leaders in our community.
Can’t attend every show? You can still make a tremendous impact by participating in the Add-On Program. Add-ons are a wonderful way to recognize a student’s hard work by contributing directly to their livestock project. Every contribution, large or small helps offset the costs of raising these animals and encourages students to continue pursuing agricultural education and leadership opportunities.
Let’s show our exhibitors how much Lea County believes in them. Your support today helps grow tomorrow’s agricultural leaders.
See you at the fair! ❤️💙💛
